Shuttle Services for Individuals with Disabilities
The Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel is committed to providing exceptional service and welcomes all guests with disabilities, including individuals who use wheelchairs and those accompanied by service animals. We take appropriates steps to ensure that persons with disabilities have an equal opportunity to participate in all of our services, activities, and other amenities.
We offer complimentary shuttle services daily between the hours of 5 AM and midnight with a 1.5-mile radius to our hotel. Complimentary shuttle services within this perimeter and service hours may be scheduled by contacting the bellman or front desk associates. Service animals are permitted to accompany guests with disabilities on hotel shuttles, except when the person handling an animal does not take effective action to control the animal (for e.g. permitting an animal to aggressively jump, bark, bite, etc.) or an animal is not house-broken. Hotel shuttles have a maximum seating capacity of 12 persons, including the driver.
If wheelchair accessible services are needed within our service perimeter during our usual shuttle service hours noted above, transportation may be arranged by contacting the front desk. To assure that appropriate arrangements may be made for services with lift-equipped vehicles, it is recommended that requests for wheelchair accessible transportation be made at least one (1) hour in advance of service needs. Wheelchair accessible transportation is provided without cost to our guests with disabilities via Handi Van Inc, (801) 281-8416 or by other means of equivalent services independently arranged by the hotel. Services are provided on a complimentary basis within the same perimeter and time frames as other shuttle services offered by our hotel.
For guest requiring wheelchair accessible transportation to locations outside of our service perimeter or after our hotel shuttle service hours, private arrangements may be made either independently or with the assistance of the front desk. Fare information will be provided by the front desk.
